As early as 1950, RUDOLF KIRCHNER recognized the qualitative advantages of fine-grained mountain wood in our region, "Pongau"! Consequently, he started the timber trade during those years and founded the sawmill business in 1962 in the heart of our forested area - EBEN im PONGAU. The company has been continuously modernized, without losing sight of our tradition and strength - quality through specialty products. (
Since 1998, our sawn timber has also been processed into semi-finished products.
Our operation is located in the center of one of the best growth areas for fine-grained mountain wood in spruce and larch - "PONGAU - LAND SALZBURG." Our products made from local mountain wood are excellent for high-quality purposes such as windows, furniture, moldings, etc.
We exclusively process wood from PEFC-certified forests - meaning from sustainably managed stands.
